Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

Journal of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering - JSEE (ISSN:1735-1669) is a quarterly journal published by International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES) that aims firstly to provide a forum for the presentation of the sate-of-the-art knowledge and applied research results by scientists and engineers worldwide; and secondly to create a medium for these specialists to be in close contact with their regional counterparts in all aspects of Seismology, Structural Earthquake Engineering, Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering, and Seismic Risk Management especially those concerning issues particular to developing countries.

The editor's policy is to include at least one paper on each of the aforementioned topics as well as providing a balance between theoretic and design oriented contributions in each journal issue.

JSEE provides a forum for the publication of original papers in the following general areas:
